There has been a lot of stir about Ernie Vincent as of late, we will be doing 2 interviews Thursday afternoon, with Radio producer Richard Ziglar and Barry Yoeman from Duke University who have received a commission from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities to produce an hour-long radio documentary on older New Orleans and South Louisiana blues and R&B musicians. It’s called “Still Singing the Blues” and will be made available free to Louisiana radio stations and all parish libraries. Ernie will be a major part of this interview,. This is LEH’s only award for a radio documentary in 2009. After that we will be filming an interview for the Jazz and Heritage Foundation conducted by George Ingmire from wwoz, which will be paired with the video shot from last weeks Blues Fest. And Finally, we will be doing a “Live Video Recording” of the show at La Maison de la Musique so come out and join the party and see what all the BUZZ is about!!!
